EXPERIENCE
While this site focuses on my artistic projects, I have experience in publicity, transcription, and social media strategy, as well as radio management and podcast production. My professional interests lie in creating greater access to platforms of expressions for marginalized peoples.
CO-HOST OF PUBLIC TRANS PODCAST
Public Trans talks about what it means to be trans in the public eye, covering  problematic takes in the media and breaking down questions trans folks like ourselves face every day. Examples include: How do you pass if you don’t identify as a binary gender? How do we raise children with or without gender? What challenges do the modern dating landscape confront us with? What are the failings of mainstream androgyny? Co-hosts Ave Bisesi (they/them) and Mac Maclean (they/them) started with college radio in 2015 with a show focusing on the intersection of queer and trans culture. Public Trans is the culmination of lessons learned from that experience, years of lived experience, and our drive to form and seek greater community.
